Barum leave rivals stuck in last place

JAKE Murphy’s last-gasp try gave Barnstaple victory in a crucial Devon derby. After an 80-minute scrap, the hosts found a way past the defence to clinch a win which puts them 13 points clear of Exmouth at the bottom of the table.
Barnstaple had plenty of possession without any hint of a try until Steve Perry took the ball into contact close to the line and popped it up to Linford Brock who offered Murphy a simple finish in the left corner.
Jordan Petherbridge added the touchline conversion to double the delight of the home fans.
