L’borough maintain lead at the top with Met win

LEAGUE leaders Loughborough extended their unbeaten run to eight matches after defeating Cardiff Met 38-19, two points away from confirming a home semi-final.
The five-try African Violet victory was secured by tries for Tom Dye, Tom Riman, Elliot Gourlay, Will Peart-Smith and Kit Temperley, pointless Met likely unable to challenge for a home quarter-final.
