Saracens hit by Euro humbug

OUR sport is no stranger to hypocrisy, and this was illustrated clearly in the build-up to the European Cup quarter-final between Leinster and Saracens, with the reigning European holders billed in both the Irish and French Press as tainted champions.
There is no salary cap stipulation for any of the teams in the European Cup, least of all Leinster or leading French clubs like Toulouse, Racing 92 or Clermont.
