Alan Dickens has hailed the impact made by Tom Christie at Newcastle and expects the New Zealander to spearhead a resurgence at Kingston Park.

The 27-year old flanker, who won three Super Rugby titles with the Crusaders, captained New Zealand at Under-20 level.
Christie then arrived in the north-east in November after leading Canterbury to the NPC title.
He made an immediate impression on Dickens, Newcastle’s interim head coach whose contract will not be renewed at the end of the season.
