Baxter still keen for Nowell to carry on

Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter admits they have opened talks with England and Lions winger Jack Nowell about turning his back on the chance to join Sam Simmonds in France next season.
Blindside reported last month that Racing 92 and Clermont Auvergne are keen on securing him when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Baxter says that this is not the first time that Nowell has spoken to French clubs and that he did it when his contract was last up for renewal.
