WHILE Sale felt aggrieved, Bath’s dogged forwards matched a powerful visiting pack, winning four lineout steals and forcing crucial scrum penalties.
Star man Josh McNally said: “We’ve been working hard on our setpiece and got back to our solid best. We knew Sale would react in the second half but the courage of our lads to get out and finish the game was unbelievable.
