Diamond anger at Heem ‘let-off’

STEVE Diamond claimed Worcester wing Bryce Heem should have been sent off for his tip tackle on replacement Paolo Odogwu.
The Sharks boss was angry with his side for their lacklustre display but also upset with referee Ian Tempest for allowing Heem to stay on despite sending Odogwu crashing on his neck and head.
Diamond insisted: “Chris Ashton got a seven-week ban for less than that! If you land on your head it is a red card isn’t it? It was somewhere between a red and a red! I don’t know if the disciplinary lot will look at it again and I’m not interested.”
