AFTER his second game back from collarbone surgery, flanker Michael Rhodes told TRP: “We're happy with the win but it wasn't a great performance and we let in a few soft tries. We've got a lot to work on before we go to Wasps next week.”
Durban-born Rhodes qualifies for England next summer and is highly-rated by Red Rose boss Eddie Jones. “I'd jump at the chance (of England),” Rhodes added.
Winger Nathan Earle justified his England call. Boss Mark McCall said: “Nathan was really unlucky with injury two years ago and has had tough competition from Chris Wyles, Chris Ashton and Liam Williams, but he's making really good progress.”
McCall expects big guns Maro Itoje and Billy Vunipola to be fit for Wasps this Sunday, adding: “Maro could have played today, Billy's a contender and Liam Williams is close.”
Worcester rugby director Alan Solomons said: “We deserved our point. The big difference was Saracens' kick execution and their bench. Bringing on guys like Mako Vunipola and Vincent Koch gave them huge momentum.”
