Steenson: I said a prayer to my dad over kick

GARETH Steenson revealed he offered a prayer to his late father before kicking the vital conversion.
Steenson’s heroics from the kicking tee took Chiefs into the Premiership seven years ago.
The Ulsterman repeated the trick with 13 points in sweltering conditions yesterday.
Steenson said: “The kicks in the Championship final against Bristol were pretty important or we couldn’t have had a day like this. The guys earned us the pens and, if I’m honest, before the last one I said a prayer to my old man upstairs.
