Tainton’s rap after collapse to Tigers

BRISTOL head coach Mark Tainton ordered his strugglers to have “hard look at ourselves” after this thumping.
Bristol have not won since New Year’s Day and Tainton said: “We allowed Leicester too much field position and when you do that you are going to struggle.
“The game was gone by half-time. We need to have a hard look at ourselves.”
Aaron Mauger, Leicester’s head coach, said he thought his team could really have “put the foot on the throat,” in a second half which brought only three tries after five in the first.
