SCRUM-HALF Sam Stuart insists Newcastle haven’t given up hope of making the knockout stages of the European Challenge Cup. Cardiff have maximum points from their opening two games, to sit at the top of Pool A while Newcastle are bottom without a point to their name.
Cardiff thrashed them 47-10 at Kingston Park in round two, with Stuart scoring Falcons’ only try, and it will take a massive turnaround for them to stay in the hunt for silverware.
