GEORDAN Murphy’s much-changed Tigers had their claws clipped by their French rivals but had already booked themselves a place in the Challenge Cup last eight.
The visitors salvaged a losing bonus point at the death in their Pool 5 clash at Stade du Hameau courtesy of fly-half Tom Hardwick’s boot having played second fiddle for most of the contest.
Led by the fit-again Manu Tuilagi, eager to prove his Six Nations availability to Eddie Jones, Tigers were slow out the blocks.
