Ice cool Thomson steps up to fire champions to victory

Brandon Thomson’s 78th minute penalty secured a 25-24 victory for the champion Pumas against Western Province.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu scored the first try but the Pumas hit back soon after as Corne Fourie forced his way over. Western Province scored their second straight from the kick-off when flanker Jarrod Taylor charged down an attempted Devon Williams clearance to collect and score.
