Stilwell steals it for Kingsbridge

THE first ever U16 Girls Cup was played on the opening day and it was Kingsbridge who claimed the title. The competition has replaced the U15 competition, and it looked as if the same school and year group that won the final tournament held last year would deliver victory once again.
But Kingsbridge defeated Ivybridge Community College 15-10 in a thrilling final, which saw the new champions recover from a 10-5 half-time deficit to seal the title with a try from DD Stilwell in the last 20 seconds.
