Regional 1 South Central/South West round-up: Four-star Turton leads romp for Maidenhead

Scintillating Maidenhead thrashed struggling Banbury 82-15, scoring 12 tries.
Winger Alex Turton went over in the opening minute to set the tone, and the hosts didn’t look back.
Turton bagged another three tries, but plenty of others were on form.
Scott Prince claimed a hat-trick, and there were scores for Harry Wells, Elio Mandozzi, Charlie Scott, Ed Atkins and Greg Smith, who also added 22 points with the boot.
Maidenhead’s win sees them overtake Oxford Harlequins in fourth, whose game at Royal Wootton Bassett fell to the weather, as did the ties at Bournemouth and Brighton.
