Jones hat-trick helps Ireland fight back to see off Japan

IRELAND recovered from a 15-point deficit to score nine tries in the first of two Tests against Japan in Shizuoka. Japan grabbed two tries in the first five minutes and added a penalty before Ireland took control. Neve Jones scored a hat-trick, with Aoife Doyle, Aoife Dalton, Meabh Deely, Chloe Pearse, Molly Scuffil-McCabe and Emma Hooban all crossing for Ireland. Fly-half Dannah O'Brien marked her debut by kicking six conversions.
