■ NEITHER the U11s or Juniors tournaments, which opened the event, had any “winner” as such, with each team playing five games against all the other sides in their groups of six, although each team was ranked based on their performance in that group.
This still allows for honourable mentions, which in the U11s category would have to go to the five group winners, each of whom went unbeaten, and given the age-group played a truly excellent standard of rugby.
