Bridgnorth in top spot after big win

BRIDGNORTH top the table at Christmas after taking a bonus-point victory while their rivals saw their matches postponed.
With three of the top four not in action, Bridgnorth gratefully took pole position into the festive period with a 31-12 win at Broadstreet.
Number ten Elliot Murphy scored a brace of tries for the new league leaders, while Dan Griffiths and Grzegorz Szczepanski and replacement Scott McKenzie also crossed the whitewash. Bridgnorth led 12-5 at the break and defended well before taking their opportunities at the other end.
