Carter milestone as Hornets win

TOP of the table Hornets’ undefeated record was handed its sternest test of the season – but they held on for a 20-17 win against Western-Super-Mare in a fiercely contested local derby.
Hornets full-back Charlie Carter celebrated his 200th appearance for the club.
Second-placed Exeter University kept the pressure on the league leaders as they held on to beat Okehampton 19-11 on their travels.
Scott Butterworth scored a brace for the away side, with Arthur Thomas also crossing the whitewash.
Sam Walker and Will Becconsell slotted the conversions.
