Jordan Cary, Jack Appleton, with two, Ryan Forman, David Kilpatrick and Sean Pyle were try scorers with Forman also clinically landing two conversions.
Morpeth crossed through Michael Craig, Jamie Jardine, John Williamson and Malcolm Denton, also forcing a penalty try with Brian Hornby kicking one conversion.
Although still a game in hand Harrogate will be disappointed they came away with nothing more than a losing bonus point as they went down 20-18 to Billingham.
