Quins show experience to end Pool’s dream run

PONTYPOOL went toe-to-toe with the Premiership’s best before falling to a last gasp try as their Cup run was cruelly ended by Camarthen Quins.
The Quins could have had no complaints had they failed to make the final four and it took a 77th minute score from Jake Newman to get them into the semif-finals.
Unbeaten Pooler got off to the dream start as they scored the first of three first-half tries within two minutes of kick-off.
Geraint Walsh hit the line from full-back, Lloyd Lewis went within two metres and then passed inside for Pat Lewis to score.
