No cash complaints for Dodson

WORLD Rugby fined the Scottish Rugby Union £70,000 two months ago over threats made by Mark Dodson of legal action amid fears that Typhoon Hagibis would force the cancellation of Scotland’s match against Japan at Yokohama. He also criticised the running of the tournament.
Despite the death and destruction caused by the storm, the match went ahead, as scheduled, a tribute to the Japanese organisers. Scotland lost and went home early, not that their chief executive can be blamed for that.
