Lead leaders fall to consecutive defeats

BILLINGHAM’S advantage at the top of the table is now down to just one point after going down for the second week running, this time at home to Rossendalewho beat the league leaders 27-12.
Jake Foster, Nick Flynn and Drew Frey were try scorers for the visitors, all converted by Lewis Allen who also kicked two penalties. Luke Wilson and Michael Wynne crossed for the home side, with Jobe Roxby slotting one conversion.
Breathing down their necks are Harrogate, who were 25-15 winners at home to Sandal.
