SWANSEA dug deep to win the first of two vital battles in their bid for survival as they pipped Ebbw Vale to pick up their first away win of the campaign.
It was fifth time lucky for the Whites as they moved 10 points clear of basement boys Bridgend and four ahead of their hosts. Ebbw Vale entertain Bridgend next weekend, while Swansea head to the Brewery Field a week later.
