Funding changes see cuts in RFU’s assessors

RFU cut backs have seen travel expenses for match official reviewers and assessors nearly halved this season, with several resigning in protest.
Previously the governing body paid assessors the same rate as RFU board members, referees and assistant referees, but have reduced their rate from 45p per mile to 25p.
