Beddau bow out shy of maiden quarter-final

CARMARTHEN Quins used their powerful driving maul to wreck battling Beddau’s dreams of causing a second giantkilling act at Mount Pleasant Park.
Having taken the Premiership side Bridgend in the first round, the Matthew Rees coached Beddau were hoping they could contain the Quins pack and reach the quarterfinals for the first time.
The Quins driving maul first came into play in the seventh minute when they drove almost the length of the 22 to earn a try for hooker Torin Myhill.
