Salop remain at summit with maximum

BOURNVILLE and Newport Salop both made it three wins from three, by beating Broadstreet and Nuneaton respectively.
Bournville had to come from behind and survive a late scare to win a tight one 18-15 at Broadstreet.
Ethan Walker had given them an early advantage, only for Broadstreet to hit back with two tries to lead 15-7.
Ben Tibbetts reduced the deficit with Bournville’s second try, before a penalty levelled the scores by the interval.
The second half was a tense affair but a single penalty proved enough to give Bournville the win.
