Gorgodze looks fit and firing at age of 35

THE great Mamuka Gorgodze seems to have been around for ever – he made his Test debut back in the mists of time in 2003 – so it came as something of a surprise to learn this week that the Georgian legend, who is coming out of retirement for the World Cup, is still only 35.
The craggy Gorgodze, below, has looked 35 for most of his career but as Oscar Wilde once observed: “Thirty-five is a very attractive age. London society is full of women of the very highest birth who have, of their own free choice, remained 35 for years.”
