FOR the second year running Rotherham fell short in their pre-season clash with Wharfedale.
Three first half tries for Titans, from Dan Leake, Harry Dunne and Sam Hollingsworth, with Hollingsworth twice adding the extras gave them a 0-19 lead.
However, at least another two tries went begging from dropped or forward passes and Wharfedale roared back to make them pay.
They scored two good tries before the break through Joe Latham and Rian Hamilton after excellent recycling rewarded their persistence.
