Delight for Fish as Squirrels are sent scurrying

GLAMORGAN Wanderers coach Dan Fish hailed his side after they beat Rhiwbina 35-9 to strike the first blow in this season’s One East Central title race. This five-star victory for the Wanderers moved them 14 points clear of the Squirrels at the top of the table, although the latter have three games in hand. “A massive team performance,” said a delighted Fish. “It goes to show what we can achieve when we all pull together; it’s impossible to single out players from the best performance of the season so far.”
