Brecon go nine points clear at the top

IT PROVED to be a good day for Breconas they extended their lead in One East to nine points.
A 19-0 victory over Risca saw them maintain their excellent winning run this season – they have now won 12 from 12 in the league – while chasing Penallta slipped up.
Ryan Price showed his worth with a brace while Lewys Cooke added a third try.
Reigning champions Brynmawr enjoyed a 22-16 win over Cwmbran, which saw them move level on points with the Pitmen, who lost 22-10 at Caerleon.
