Late Williams try completes dramatic Bedwas fightback

NEWPORT and Bedwas drew 18-18 on Saturday after Adam Williams dramatically scored in the corner in the final minute to level the match for the home side.
The visitors had stormed to an 18-0 first half lead but Bedwas woke up after the break and could have even won the game - they converted just one of seven attempts at goal.
Newport took a fourth minute lead after Haydn Simons kicked a penalty from close range. Evan Lloyd missed the first of his kicks, before Simons doubled Newport’s lead with a straightforward penalty.
