Five-try Brecon take charge of East

BRECON are now in control of the One East title race following their thrilling five-try 37-30 win over Blaenavon.
Darren Witcomb led the way with a double while Dafydd Edwards, Davey Herdman and Elgan Jones backed him up. Dean Gunter added the rest from the kicking tee.
The win saw Brecon leapfrog Brynmawr and Penallta – both not in action – to the summit with the only 100 per cent record in the league.
With Llandudno not playing, Pwllheli closed the gap at the top of One North to three points with a 17-15 win over Caernarfon.
