Drovers run comes to an end as Williams holds his nerve

PONTYPRIDD bounced back from their defeat at Merthyr with a narrow victory over Llandovery in a tightly-contested affair at Sardis Road.
In what was a battle of second against third in the Principality Premiership, tries from hooker Huw Dowden and wing Alex Webber, along with eight points from the boot of flyhalf Lewis K Williams, gave the edge to the Valley Commandos.
It was the Drovers, who had won three on the bounce coming into the clash, first on the scoreboard after five minutes thanks to a penalty from fly-half Jack Maynard.
