A HAT-TRICK of tries from Efan Jones helped RGC 1404 secure a bonus-point win over Bedwas.
Along with Jones' tries Tom Hughes and Dan Owen crossed for one each while Billy McBryde kicked 13 points, while Bedwas scored two tries courtesy of Jordan Reed and Craig Hudd.
Reed opened the scoring when he intercepted a loose pass from McBryde to run in the first try, but the home side hit straight back with hooker Evan Yardley running straight through an unguarded ruck before offloading to Jones who touched down.
Hughes put the hosts ahead when he crossed in the corner, before Jones claimed the Gogs' third try with a stunning individual effort which saw him beat three men. Jones completed his hat-trick with another brilliant finish.
RGC were then reduced to 14 men when Llan Rowland was sent to the sin bin for killing the ball on the floor. Craig Hudd made Bedwas' numerical advantage tell when he crashed over from short range.
But the Gogs had the last laugh when Dan Owen secured the bonus point.
