LLANDOVERY’S winning run continued but they were lucky to beat Newport thanks to a controversial late try.
A chip ahead by replacement Aaron Warren saw Lee Williams dive on the ball in goal, before referee Aaron Parry ruled a knock on – only to change his mind on the intervention of the touch judge.
The Drovers face a difficult week with games at Merthyr tomorrow and Newport again next Saturday in the National Cup semi-final.
