TREORCHY were crowned winners in the Division One East-Central division after a 38-7 win away to Rumney. Ystrad Rhondda could have kept the the Zebras waiting for another week, but despite a double from lock Mazin Al-Azzaw, poor discipline and several sinbins saw Dowlais recover to claim a shock 24-21 victory.
Bonymaen took the initiative for the West-Central title with a 52-24 win over Seven Sisters to jump to the top of the table.
