FORMER Otley RUFC captain Phil Tindall has died after a 25-year battle with Parkinson’s disease. Phil was one of five members of the Tindall family to play for Otley.
A talented fly-half and centre, he made his first-team debut aged 17 in the 1963– 64 season, and was captain in 1972–73 before retiring in 1974 due to damaged knee cartilage.
