BATH showed their strength in depth despite opening their pre-season campaign with a hard-fought defeat against Perpignan at Stade Aimé-Giral.
With a host of internationals unavailable following their summer commitments and several senior players recovering from operations, Johann van Graan fielded a youthful side which produced six tries against their Top 14 hosts.
