Rugby rescued me when I was in a dark place

Running out at Kingsholm in front of 10,000 people and being crowned champions of England with Gloucester-Hartpury is probably the greatest rugby moment of my life. I was starting at tight-head and as the final whistle went, I remember thinking: “How is this my life?”.
