Phil Dowson wants his Northampton Saints to “never forget” their “painful” 41-17 loss to rivals Leicester Tigers after they were given a mauling at Welford Road yesterday.

The Northampton boss, whose Prem leaders were brought down to earth with a bang, admitted they were outplayed after the break and couldn’t recover once Leicester took control.
