Chinnor tribute to Simon Vickers

THE Rugby Paper would like to apologise for a mistake in last weekend’s Chinnor match report in which the name of their late CEO Simon Vickers was misspelt.
Mr Vickers, below, who was a former captain at Chinnor RFC, passed away this month.
Mr Vickers joined the club in the 1980s and ‘never truly left’, returning time and again to support the club. Under his leadership, Chinnor rose through the divisions and reached the Championship ip in 2024.
