MARK McCall was pleased with how his Saracens side bounced back from trailing 14-0after 13 minutes but was left dejected once the final whistle rang. He said: “It’s gutting. To go 14-0 down so early, especially after what happened last week, and then fight our way back into the game like we did – that was magnificent, really. I’m hugely proud of the performance. Our goal-line defence towards the end, the fight we showed, was outstanding. That’s why it’s so frustrating to lose it right at the end.”
