I’m intrigued, fascinated, perplexed, occasionally entertained, but mostly irritated by why sportsmen and women feel the need to subtly but deliberately flaunt minor laws in an insidious rather truculent fashion.

We are not talking massive flagrant blatant transgressions that have you out of your seat shouting abuse and are greeted by volleys of criticism and analysis, but the small seemingly needless stuff that seems indicative of a certain mindset.
