England’s Alex Coles has welcomed new rules over contact in training but insists he is well looked after anyway by club and country.

Prem clubs have agreed to regulate the amount of contact players are put through in the week, share data on it and increase concussion surveillance.
All sessions will be uploaded to a central database, players will have to wear smart mouthguards to monitor head knocks in practice, as well as in games, and pre-season loads will be reduced.
