A 14-TRY bonanza with the Titans scoring nine and the Students five gave the crowd a thrilling afternoon.
Isacc Dalton opened the scoring and Tom Putt converted, before Jay Toogood added the second.
Scott Gibson then set up Ben Heath for the third.
Loughborough finally opened their account with a Connor Cross try and Ben Webb goal.
Gibson hit back with a solo try, before Reece Malone extended the lead. Putt then landed a penalty to make it 34-7 at the break.
