HOW sad to hear of the death of former England and Lions wing Peter Squires. Peter started his rugby career at Ripon and then to his local big club Harrogate. From there he was selected for Yorkshire XV, the Northeast, the North and I’m guessing, either the Probables or Possibles XVs.
A sensible player pathway for the time and I suggest a better pathway than today which appears to be totally controlled by the wealthy owners of the 10 remaining Prem...
