MACCLESFIELD rose to second place after taking the points against Hull, in a performance which saw them pull out all the stops to come out on top.
Macclesfield claimed the first try, after six minutes, with Mason Winterburn’s well-taken effort, which Harry Oliver converted.
Hull hit back quickly, with Jack Render’s try and Reece Dean’s conversion levelling the scores. Render was soon pushed over tagain, in a spell of Hull success, with Dean converting
