L’borough ease past Cardiff to go top of the table

LOUGHBOROUGH bulldozed Cardiff 82-12 to kick off BUCS Super Rugby’s return and move top of the table.
African Violet scored 12 tries and led 49-7 at the break, with impressive braces for Ben Turpin, Kit Temperley and Yande Nkonge.
Bath remain second in the table on equal points, both sides on 50, after defeating Nottingham 29-14.
Bath defended well to keep Nottingham out to earn a bonus point without reply before the hour, as the Brothers extended their winning run to five matches.
