PONTYPRIDD returned to the top of the table after coming from behind to edge a Boxing Day cracker with Beddau 36-33 at Sardis Road.
Wing Joe Davies bagged a brace, with full-back Dale Stuckey, No 8 Joe Miles – on his 100th Ponty appearance – and replacement Jordan Coxley also scored. Jaydan Pugh added four conversions and a penalty.
Scrum-half Callaghan Smith, twice, Ethan Coombes, Lloyd James and a penalty try scored for Beddau – who led three times. Ollie Wilde (2) and Smith kicked conversions.
